This theme is of particular significance to Cantabrians after their experience of bushfires and earthquakes. Your entry should fit the size of an A4 page but may be flat or three dimensional.

It must include at least 75% natural fibre and should include a found object. Any technique may be used. There is no entry fee for the challenge, but you must be a Creative Fibre member.

Please supply appropriate packaging and a self-addressed prepaid mailing or courier bag so that your entry can be returned, or you may nominate someone to collect your entry at the end of the event in which case please provide the name and contact number of your nominated person with your entry.

While in transit, and during the festival, insurance is the responsibility of the entrant.

By entering the challenge, you give permission for images of your work to be used for publicity purposes and understand that the taking of photographs will be permitted during the duration of the festival.

There will be a People’s Choice Award for the challenge.

Entries are due by 26 March 2025.
